CI Motorsports Global Return & Refund Policy

At CI Motorsports, we stand behind our 550,000+ performance parts. This policy outlines our return procedures for domestic (USA) and international customers (including Australia, UK, Canada, and the EU) to ensure full transparency and compliance with global consumer protections.


1. 30-Day Return Window

We offer a 30-day return window for all products. The 30-day period begins on the date of delivery as confirmed by the carrier tracking number.

2. Condition for Returns (New Only)

To maintain the safety and integrity of high-performance automotive components, we strictly accept returns for New and Unopened products only.

  • Requirement: Items must be in their original, unopened manufacturer packaging.

  • Exclusions: We cannot accept returns on items that have been installed, bolted-on, greasy/handled, or modified.

  • Final Sale Items: Electronics, turbochargers, fuel system components, and custom-machined parts are non-returnable unless a manufacturing defect is verified.

3. Return Method & RMA Authorization

All returns must be authorized prior to shipping.

  • Step 1: Contact us at [Your Support Email] to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

  • Step 2: Returns must be sent by mail to our designated US return center.

  • Labeling: We do not provide prepaid return labels. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. For international returns, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs, including duties, taxes, and brokerage fees.

4. Fees & Refund Processing

We handle restocking fees differently based on your location to remain compliant with local regulations:

  • Domestic (USA) Returns: No restocking fees are charged for authorized returns of new, unopened items within the 30-day window.

  • International Returns: A 20% restocking fee applies to all international returns (outside the USA). This fee covers the administrative, currency, and logistical costs of international trade.

  • Refund Timeline: Once your return is received and inspected:

    • Inspection Time: 24–48 hours.

    • Domestic Refunds: Issued within 3–5 business days.

    • International Refunds: Issued within 5–10 business days (timing varies by your local bank).

5. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, or does not match the description:

  • Please notify us within 7 days of delivery.

  • Verified Defects: CI Motorsports will cover the "reasonable costs" of return shipping or provide a replacement at no cost to the customer. This applies globally, including to our customers in Australia and the UK.

6. Legal Notices for International Customers

  • Australia (ACL): Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

  • United Kingdom & EU: This policy respects your statutory "cooling-off" period and right of withdrawal for distance selling. Please notify us within 14 days of receipt if you intend to exercise your right to return.
