The IAG Rally X Skid Plate is designed to fit 2002-2007 Subaru Impreza WRX and STI models. This plate provides protection to the headers and oil pan from the front of the U-frame to the transmission brace. The Rally X Skid Plate is strong enough to stand up to rough roads, rocks, branches and debris. Whether you use it for rally, rally-cross, camping, or just want a little extra protection for peace of mind, the Rally X Skid Plate is an affordable solution to shield your Subaru’s engine from potential damage. IAG’s Rally X Skid Plate is a replacement upgrade for the Subaru factory plastic splash guard on the 2002-07 WRX/STI. While the OEM plastic version provides a sufficient buffer for regular street driving conditions, the Rally X Skid Plate provides a solid shield against rocky roads, churned up trails, ice chunks and debris, allowing you to take on the rally course or the trail without the worry of cracking an oil pan or crushing a header. The IAG Rally X Skid Plate is constructed from a single, solid piece of 3/16” thick 5052 aluminum. Known for its strength and high corrosion resistance, 5052 aluminum is also lightweight, making it a perfect match for racing applications. This skid plate features a protective layer of black powder coating on both sides of the plate.
