When tie rod angles increase to anything above parallel to the center link, the life of pitman and idler arms decreases rapidly without this upgrade. The Cognito PISK (Pitman and Idler Arm Support Kit) prevents premature wear of pitman and idler arms by supporting and controlling the intended motion of these components in an innovative method which earned a Utility Patent.
