It can also be brushed into corners and seams stopping vibration in all those hard to reach spots the stick-on sound sheets can't get to. Step number two is installing a layer of the Stealth Shield. This is as easy as make a pattern, trim to fit, grab a can of your favorite trim adhesive and glue in place. The Stealth Shield can reduce interior temperatures by as much as 2% compared to stick on sound sheets. The distinct advantage of the db Headliner is the weight, or lack thereof. Sticking on heavy damping sheets on roof panel not only does little to reduce heat it also raises your center of gravity. Think about all the time and money invested in your suspension or custom chassis. Adding dead useless weight above your headliner only makes that investment work harder.
