Most of these machines will have at least one flywheel failure in their lifetime so far. Low quality epoxy was used on OEM flywheels to secure the magnets to the rotor body. Over time and many heat cycles, the epoxy fails allowing the magnets to come loose and contact the stator, potentially causing catastrophic damage. For years, service shops & dealerships have offered low cost repairs for Suzuki flywheels to save the 400$+ OEM replacement. This sounds like a great idea at first, but there are some serious issuesThe common repair is using JB Weld© Marine Blue Epoxy to reattach the loose original magnets, or to install new ones. Epoxy fixes do repair flywheels in short term, if they are done correctly. However, this kind of repair can easily cause immediate problems, and impact long term reliability of your Motorcycle.Built to OEM sizeFits precisely in your ride: install it and forget it.Improved epoxyUses high temperature epoxy that is stronger than OEM, eliminating the possibility of magnet detachmentHigh grade steel capping Prevents harsh additives in motor oil from degrading the epoxy attaching the magnets. Though extremely unlikely, if a magnet did ever come loose, it would remain in the sleeve preventing contact with the stator.Precise balancingEliminates crankshaft vibrations for longer engine longevity.2-year warrantyAll products are testedStator Dimensions:Interior diameter: 38 mmExterior diameter: 107 mmThickness: 12 mmLength of wires stator to grommet: 160 mmLength of wires grommet to plug: 330 mmOther specifications:Number of wires:3Number of plugs: 1Number of pins: 3Wire to wire resistance:Alternator: Yellow to Yellow = 0.5 ohms +/-20%Flywheel Dimensions:Exterior Diameter: 118 mmInterior Diameter: 108 mmInterior Diameter Center Housing: 25 mmExterior Diameter Center Housing: 33 mmThickness (exterior): 34 mmThickness (interior): 27 mmBefore installing your new Stator and FlywheelCheck the AC output of the statorReplace any burned or corroded connectors on stator and regulator rectifierCheck and repair any melted wiringUse hi-temp dielectric grease on all connectorsOur stator might have a different wire color code than your original part. All the wires are installed in the correct order; please do not change any of the wiring configurations. This stator is designed as a direct plug-in replacement and should be used as such. When bolting stator in, always use locking compound. If our stator includes a pickup coil, always make sure the air gap is correct upon installation; we suggest as close as possible but no less than 0.010".FlywheelBefore attempting to start your Suzuki adjusting the air gap is necessary. Rotate the flywheel so the raised node is lined up with the pick up/pulser coil and adjust as close as possible but no less than 0.010".Warning:Risk of electric shock. Disconnect the battery before servicing.Ensure proper installation by a qualified technician to avoid malfunction.Vehicle Fitments2024 Suzuki GSXR 7502024 Suzuki GSXR 6002023 Suzuki GSXR 7502023 Suzuki GSXR 6002022 Suzuki GSXR 7502022 Suzuki GSXR 6002021 Suzuki GSXR 7502021 Suzuki GSXR 6002019 Suzuki GSXR 7502019 Suzuki GSXR 6002018 Suzuki GSXR 7502018 Suzuki GSXR 6002017 Suzuki GSXR 7502017 Suzuki GSXR 6002016 Suzuki GSXR 7502016 Suzuki GSXR 6002015 Suzuki GSXR 7502015 Suzuki GSXR 6002014 Suzuki GSXR 7502014 Suzuki GSXR 6002013 Suzuki GSXR 7502013 Suzuki GSXR 6002012 Suzuki GSXR 7502012 Suzuki GSXR 6002011 Suzuki GSXR 7502011 Suzuki GSXR 6002009 Suzuki GSXR 7502009 Suzuki GSXR 6002008 Suzuki GSXR 7502008 Suzuki GSXR 6002007 Suzuki GSXR 7502007 Suzuki GSXR 6002006 Suzuki GSXR 7502006 Suzuki GSXR 600
