A coolant filter, also known as a cooling system filter or a coolant filtration system, is an aftermarket component added to a vehicle's cooling system to help remove contaminants and debris from the coolant. It works similarly to an oil filter, trapping particles and impurities that can cause damage to the engine or cooling system components.
